With McAfee SpamKiller for SecurityShield added onto SecurityShield, you have a proven defense against both the cost and risk of spam. SpamKiller’s core technology is the McAfee SpamAssassin™ engine. It uses a rating system to score e-mail based on a series of tests. Highly accurate, it catches up to 95 percent of all spam e-mail out of the box with a very low false-positive identification rate. In addition to excellent spam detection, McAfee SpamKiller detects and stops potential phishing scams.
