Description:
McAfee Active VirusScan protects your desktops and file servers from all types of viruses.
Used in conjunction with McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator®, Active VirusScan provides you with single-console management and reporting. This product scans downloads from e-mail, FTP servers, and Web sites. It detects and protects against threats before they enter your system. McAfee® VirusScan® ’s NetShield® specifically protects NetWare file servers.
The proven anti-virus technology blends heuristics and generic information to identify both known and as yet undiscovered viruses and protects against exploits known to target Microsoft applications and OS services. It even drills down into compressed files to find threats hidden in .zip and similar files.
Updates are critical to effective virus protection. Active VirusScan automatically downloads the latest virus-pattern data for continuous up-to-date protection.
