McAfee’s Mobile Security Products Earn Rave Reviews in CRN, InformationWeek, InfoSecurity and PCTipp
SANTA CLARA, Calif., October 13, 2011 — McAfee, Inc. today announced that its software products McAfee Enterprise Mobility Management software and McAfee Mobile Security software have received accolades from leading technology publications CRN, InformationWeek, InfoSecurity and PCTipp.
McAfee® Enterprise Mobility Management (McAfee® EMM™) software is a comprehensive security solution offering full mobile device and data protection, anti-malware, and easy integration with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform for a variety of mobile devices. It was selected by CRN in August as one of the "50 Mobility Products We Love Right Now." McAfee EMM software was also named the “silver winner” in the “Best Mobile Data Security Products” category at the 2011 Information Security Magazine Readers' Choice Awards in September. In September, McAfee was named “10 Mobile Security Vendors to Watch,” by InformationWeek Magazine.

The winners of the 2011 Information Security Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards were selected by more than 1,500 readers who voted to rate security products in 14 different categories. The featured products in CRN’s “50 Mobility Products We Love Right Now,” “25 Hot Security Products to Watch” and “10 Mobile Security Vendors to Watch,” features were selected by the magazine’s editors and announced on August 30 and September 23. The comparative review of mobile security products in PCTipp was released in September and conducted by the magazine’s staff.
