McAfee Inc. Names Joe Sexton Senior Vice President of North American Sales

Sexton Brings 23 Years of Extensive Sales Management Expertise to McAfee

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ McAfee Inc. (NYSE: MFE) today announced the appointment of Joe Sexton to senior vice president of North American sales. In his new role, Sexton will be responsible for field sales, sales engineering and services in North America and will report to Roger King, executive vice president of worldwide sales.

Prior to joining McAfee, Sexton served at Mercury Interactive, where he was vice president for field operations in the Americas. There, he was responsible for sales and customer service and won the Vice President of the Year award for leading a team selling financial, manufacturing and distribution solutions. Sexton also served as Central Area vice president, where he led field operations in the Central region of the United States, as well as Canada and Mexico. Before joining Mercury Interactive in 2001, Sexton held executive sales positions at EMC, Integrated Concepts and Computer Associates.
