McAfee, Inc. Names Gebhart As Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager

SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) today announced the appointment of Todd Gebhart to Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager, Consumer, Mobile and Small Business. In his expanded role, Gebhart will direct overall strategy, sales, marketing, product, services delivery, support and finance for the business unit and will report to Dave DeWalt, president and chief executive officer.

"Under Todd's sales leadership, McAfee's global consumer business has achieved record results and established many significant global partnerships with leading OEM, ISP, Telco and financial services companies," said DeWalt. "We are confident that he will continue to grow our consumer and small business initiatives as well as guide the evolution of our mobile security business and SiteAdvisor solutions."

Gebhart joined McAfee in 1999 to lead the company's OEM, Service Provider and Outsourcer sales teams. In 2002, he was given responsibility for McAfee's consumer business and added the mobile phone segment in 2004. He was also recently given oversight for the company's small business sector.

A 25-year veteran of the IT industry, Gebhart has held senior-level management positions with leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, including most recently Vice President of Sales at Alaris Corporation, a leader in video compression technology over the internet. He started his career at IBM where he held a variety of sales and management positions.

Gebhart received his Bachelor of Science Degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and completed the executive management program at Harvard University.
