McAfee, Inc. Receives High Recognition in Computerworld's Inaugural Customer

McAfee Enterprise Anti-virus and Anti-spam Score Firsts

SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) today announced that it received three awards in Computerworld magazine's (Singapore and Malaysia editions) inaugural Customer Care Awards 2007. McAfee® won the award for the Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam category in a survey with readers of both Computerworld Singapore and Computerworld Malaysia. McAfee was also the runner-up in the Intrusion Detection/Prevention category in the Computerworld Singapore poll. Readers assessed vendors on a variety of facets of their interactions with vendors.

McAfee's highest score was 87.1 for deployment in the Singapore survey. This surpassed the 67 collective average of its competitors. Additionally, customers felt that McAfee "did an outstanding job" in this area. "McAfee had the distinction of not being given a single negative rating (a score of four or less out of 10) in the poll, including pre- and post-implementation," according to Computerworld Singapore.

McAfee was runner-up among companies surveyed in the Intrusion Detection/Prevention category. Computerworld Singapore stated that McAfee "is also coming on strong in the [Intrusion Detection/Prevention] space."
