SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) today announced that Alva Purvis, vice president of worldwide channel enablement, was named one of the "50 Most Powerful Women of the Channel."
Since Purvis joined McAfee in 2003, the channel organization has received a great deal of positive recognition from channel publications. McAfee was named by VARBusiness magazine as a certified five-star partner in 2006. Additionally, CRN Magazine named McAfee the "Top Vendor in the Network Security Hardware" category in March 2006.
