McAfee Leaders Named by CRN Magazine as 2012's Women of the Channel

Four of McAfee’s Channel Leadership Team Recognized by Premier Channel Portal

SANTA CLARA, Calif., 23 de julio de 2012 - McAfee today announced that Lisa Matherly, vice president of worldwide marketing operations and partner marketing; Donna St. John, director of worldwide partner programs; Allison (Harabis) Clarke, senior manager of worldwide channel sales operations; and Stephanie Novak, manager of global channel enablement, have been recognized by UBM Channel’s CRN Magazine as four of the top “Women of the Channel” for 2012. Honorees in CRN’s 2012 Women of the Channel list have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company, and the IT channel as a whole.

Additionally, both Lisa Matherly and Donna St. John were also named to the Power 100 Women of the Channel list. An elite subset of CRN’s annual Women of the Channel list, the “Power 100” designation is awarded to the highest-ranking women holding the most prominent channel-focused positions in a vendor or solution provider organization. This year’s Power 100 Women of the Channel were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine from a field of applications and nominations from vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

In her role at McAfee, Lisa Matherly directs the development, implementation and alignment of marketing strategy and initiatives with sales and support organizations. Donna St. John is responsible for the McAfee SecurityAlliance Partner Program and the Worldwide Partner Program Group, including structure of partner, profitability and enablement programs.

Allison (Harabis) Clarke is responsible for all aspects of Channel Sales Operations globally, including infrastructure, support systems and tools for sales, sales processes and rules of engagement. Stephanie Novak is charged with channel development and partner enablement, including support for McAfee’s partner program vision to develop an enabled, productive and profitable channel.

“Now in its 9th annual publication, CRN’s 2012 'Women of the Channel' list honors female executives based on their accomplishments over the past year, and their dedication to driving the overall success of the IT Channel,” said Kelley Damore, vice president and editorial director at UBM Channel. “This designation is especially important because it recognizes successful and influential women in the IT channel, which has long been considered a male-centric industry. I take great pride in honoring and congratulating these women for their contributions to the industry and their respective organizations.”

“We are honored and proud to have such wonderful talent from McAfee named to the 2012 'Women of the Channel' list and are thrilled to see them recognized by this premier channel publication,” said Gavin Struthers, senior vice president of worldwide channels at McAfee. “Lisa, Donna, Allison and Stephanie all exemplify and demonstrate the key qualities of leadership, drive and excellence that McAfee aims to foster in every one of its employees.”

Executives on both lists were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine based on nominations and applications from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers. Criteria for selection was based on the role each applicant played over the past year in driving revenue for their company and the steps they’ve taken to evangelize the importance of the IT channel.
