McAfee Web Gateway Wins Gold in Best Web Security Gateway Products Category
SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 21, 2009 - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today announced that McAfee Web Gateway has earned a Readers’ Choice Award from Information Security Magazine and SearchSecurity.com. McAfee Web Gateway won the gold medal in the Security Gateway Products category, placing above Trend Micro and Websense for the top position. The solution earned high marks for its threat detection capabilities, which use McAfee’s anti-malware technology and scan engine to block spyware and clean viruses. Also favored among readers is the product’s comprehensive reporting system and vendor support features.
