MCAFEE APPOINTS LEO CHAN AS REGIONAL MANAGER OF HK AND TAIWAN

McAfee today announced the appointment of Mr. Leo Chan as Regional Manager, Hong Kong and Taiwan, reporting to Mr. Tony Ho, Vice President, North Asia. In this role, Chan will be responsible for sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

 

Chan joined McAfee over 5 years ago and previously held the role of Field Product Line Manager – Systems.  He has also served as System Engineering Manager, North Asia and as Chief Security Advisor, Asia Pacific where he was responsible for helping large enterprises in APAC build security infrastructure to fight against the latest threats.  Chan has extensive knowledge on security risk management, malware, threats, hacking techniques, and security best practices. 

 

Before joining McAfee, Chan worked as a security consultant at JP Morgan Chase where he helped design and implement in-house security solutions.  He also worked as sales director for a Hong Kong software company developing different security products including firewall, encryption, authentication/ authorization and mobile security products. 

 

Chan received a BSc in information and computer science from the University of California at Irvine in the United States.
