Consumer Endpoint Security


After consistently improving protection and total scores throughout 2013, McAfee Internet Security achieved a perfect 18 out of 18 in the July-August 2014 AV-Test for consumer endpoint.

McAfee Internet Security has received certification in the last 18 AV-Test consumer endpoint tests since October 2011.

In February 2014, McAfee Internet Security achieved 100% in the NSS Labs Consumer EPP Comparative Analysis Socially Engineered Malware test. McAfee Internet Security was in the leading position as it detected and blocked more malware from reaching the endpoint than any other vendor.

Enterprise Endpoint Security


In the July-August 2014 AV-Test Enterprise Endpoint test, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise scored a perfect 6 for endpoint protection.

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise with ePO has received AV-Test certification in all 19 tests since they began in August 2011.

McAfee Complete Endpoint Protection — Enterprise achieved a 100% block rate in the NSS Labs Enterprise EPP Comparative Analysis Socially Engineered Malware test published in April 2014. In anti-malware effectiveness tests, McAfee was in the leading position as it blocked more malware from reaching the endpoint than any other vendor.

Data Center Intrusion Prevention Systems


NSS Labs published its Data Center IPS Comparative Analysis Security Value Map (SVM) in February 2014. McAfee Network Security Platform was 99.6% effective in blocking exploits, the leading security technology effectiveness rate of the four IPS solutions tested by NSS Labs. In addition, McAfee Network Security Platform was effective against all evasion techniques tested.

Mobile Security


In September 2014, the anti-malware test lab AV-Test published the results of its latest round of mobile security effectiveness tests. McAfee Mobile Security received a perfect protection score of 6, detecting a representative set of recent malicious applications with zero false positives.
