McAfee, Inc. to Present Keynote at RSA Conference 2009

Security Experts to Discuss Challenges Facing Organizations

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 13, 2009 - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) today announced Dave DeWalt, president and chief executive officer, will give a keynote speech on McAfee’s vision for the future of security at the RSA Conference 2009. A series of McAfee experts will lead multiple presentations and panel discussions throughout the conference, with topics ranging from the latest cybercrime trends to the challenges that customer face when considering vendor consolidation.

McAfee will host RSA attendees in a pavilion comprised of two side-by-side experiences. At the McAfee Solution Pavilion #1117, McAfee representatives will demonstrate leading solutions for data protection, network and endpoint security, cloud technologies and services all within an interactive environment. Attendees can touch their way through the McAfee product portfolio, participate in a set of hands-on demo stations or test their gaming skills at saving the planet from a barrage of missiles. At the McAfee Partner Pavilion, booth #1017, attendees will experience first-hand the value of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance partner program which accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of these products within complex customer environments.

At the event, McAfee will discuss current issues affecting the security industry, including the challenges of fighting cybercrime, trends in cloud computing and the role of security during a down economy. McAfee speakers and presentations include:

  • Phyllis Schneck, vice president of cyber intelligence at McAfee will participate on the panel “Expert Stories: Cross-Sector Cyber Security Events and Drastic Consequences” on Tuesday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m.
  • Timothy Vo, vice president of engineering at McAfee will discuss “New Horizons in Network Security, 360º Visibility” on Tuesday, April 21 at 2:30 p.m.
  • David Coffey, manager product security and Carl Banzhof, vice president of Technology Strategy at McAfee will co-present on “Mobile and Could Computing – What’s the Forecast?” on Tuesday, April 21 at 4:10 p.m.

On April 22, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., McAfee and FishNet will also be hosting an event titled, “5 Ways In—Protecting from Every Angle,” at the W San Francisco Hotel, directly across from the convention center.
