McAfee, Inc. Named One of "Coolest Cloud Security Vendors" by Everything Channel's CRN
SANTA CLARA, Calif., February 01, 2010 - McAfee, Inc. today announced that Everything Channel's CRN has named it one of the “20 Coolest Cloud Security Vendors.” The top Cloud Security Vendors include CRN’s top 20 picks of the coolest cloud security vendors helping to foster the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) phenomenon and drive it forward in 2010.
In September, McAfee completed the acquisition of MX Logic, a SaaS e-mail and Web security company. This acquisition helped bolster the McAfee portfolio which now includes email and Web protection, email continuity and archiving services, endpoint protection and vulnerability management, and added 40,000 new customers and 1,800 channel partners. Additionally, early this year McAfee launched a new version of its McAfee® Total Protection Service, providing integrated endpoint, email and Web protection from the cloud.
