Volunteering and Community Outreach

McAfee Community Involvement

In addition to donations of money and goods, McAfee and our employees give another valuable asset—our time.

Individual Volunteering

McAfee is proud of our employees and the hours they commit to volunteering in their communities. Our employees tutor children, help the environment, support the arts, raise funds to fight disease, and much more. To support employee interest, McAfee brings in community leaders to discuss the many local volunteer opportunities.

Company-sponsored Volunteering

In addition to our employees' own efforts, McAfee routinely organizes and sponsors employee volunteer teams to take part in community projects. In the recent past, employee teams have volunteered to take part in:

  • Rebuilding Together—National Rebuilding Day
  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation—Walk to Cure Diabetes
  • National Youth Leadership Forum—Forum on Technology
  • Family Giving Tree—Gift Sorting and Wrapping Day

Request McAfee Volunteers

Community organizations located near McAfee offices that meet our eligibility requirements may submit a request for an employee volunteer team. To be eligible, your group must be a 501(c)(3) organization—or equivalent outside the US—and not be a political or religious organization.

To request a volunteer team, please send your information to McAfee Community Involvement.

McAfee reserves the right to the interpretation, application, and administration of the Request McAfee Volunteers program. McAfee will not provide volunteers to organizations that do not comply with the McAfee equal opportunity and nondiscrimination policies. Single-gender organizations are not automatically excluded; as long as the organization is addressing a gender-specific issue (e.g., more girls in math and science), or has an opposite-gender equivalent organization.
