Intel and McAfee are collaborating to take advantage of underlying hardware capabilities of 4th Generation Intel vPro Processors (Haswell) to improve the performance and security of nested Virtual Machine Monitors (Guest VMs), or VMMs. Using Intel VM Control Structure (VMCS) Shadowing, organizations can use Citrix XenClient to realize the benefits of centralizing applications while taking advantage of McAfee Deep Defender to protect against stealthy malware that can infect the device.
