This threat is detected as VBS/Notice.gen. On executing the infected VBScript file, the virus will copy itself as MS Script Tool.vbs in the hard coded directory c:\windows. The virus will then copy itself to the following directories if they exist:
The virus will then overwrite all jpg, jpeg, mp3 and mp2 found in above directories. It will also add .vbs extension to them. The following registry key will be added if Kazaa is installed: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

This worm spreads through the KaZaa, and file-sharing applications.
Use current engine and DAT files for detection and removal.
Using File Filtering with WebShield SMTP for WindowsNT(not applicable for Solaris):
Within the Configuration console select content filtering.
Select Add.
Add a Description for the content filter rule such as VBSBlock.
Select Filter on Attachment File name.
Filter on .vbs
Select OK.
