McAfee Ethics First
We are committed to holding the highest ethical standards. Our business relationships with customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers, and local communities must always be built on a foundation of integrity and trust. We call this commitment "Ethics First"— doing the right thing at all times in all circumstances in connection with our work at McAfee.
We created the McAfee Ethics First program to enhance communication and promote safety, security, and ethical behavior. Our success is dependent on commitment to these enduring values, and no success is worth the expense of compromising ethical behavior. These values are expressed in the McAfee Standards of Conduct.
The McAfee Standards of Conduct emphasize the importance of our business relationships and outline basic principles for expected behavior, such as:
- Integrity must permeate our dealings with customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers, local communities, governments at all levels, and the general public wherever we operate
- Management is expected to be fair and consistent in its working relationships
- Employees must maintain an atmosphere of ethical action and mutual respect shared by all
Ethicspoint, a third-party vendor, is hosting an online tool where employees, customers, partners and suppliers may share information in support of the McAfee Ethics First program. This is part of our ongoing commitment to professional values and integrity.
