Top-Ranked Consumer Emblem Marks Latest Recognition for Internet Family Manager
ATLANTA, 11 October 2011 - McAfee announced today that McAfee® Safe Eyes® (www.safeeyes.com), parental control software designed to manage children’s Internet use, has earned the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal. Receipt of the Seal marks the latest recognition for Safe Eyes software, which has received awards from The National Parenting Center, Parents’ Choice Foundation, European Commission, PC Magazine, LAPTOP Magazine and other organizations.
The Good Housekeeping Seal has been a symbol of consumer protection and product excellence since 1909. Safe Eyes software received the Seal, and the associated limited product warranty, following a rigorous evaluation by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute. The limited warranty reflected by the Good Housekeeping Seal means that if a product bearing the Seal is defective within the first two years of purchase, Good Housekeeping will replace the product or refund the purchase price.
