We work with your team to develop an enterprise-wide deployment strategy for ePO, addressing maintenance and virus outbreak modes.

  • Develop a strategy for the complete rollout of ePO to all desktops and servers within your enterprise
  • Desktop security policy development

Setup and Configuration

We configure and test the technology with a pilot ePO deployment customized to your requirements and train your team members so that they can customize ePO as your requirements evolve.

  • Install and configure ePO software on one Microsoft® Windows® server
  • Deploy ePO agents to a pilot network
  • Test ePO software agent distribution method on your systems (up to eight workstations running McAfee® VirusScan® and up to two file servers running VirusScan)
  • Test virus detection policy enforcement on your systems where agent is installed (eight workstations and up to two file servers)
  • Configure ePO to provide centralized reporting for installed McAfee products with ePO agents (desktop/VirusScan, file server/McAfee® NetShield® NT, GroupWare/McAfee® GroupShield® Exchange, e500 appliance)
  • Configure ePO to receive and distribute
  • Automatic DAT file updates
  • Regular product updates
