McAfee Community Involvement
Community Grants Program
McAfee makes a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Through the McAfee Endowment Fund, managed by Community Foundation Silicon Valley, we collaborate with community organizations and support their programs with financial grants.

Eligibility and Exclusions
Please note: At this time, McAfee is not accepting unsolicited grant applications. However, if your organization meets our criteria and eligibility guidelines below, and we have not contacted you, please send an e-mail to McAfee Community Involvement with a short paragraph introducing us to your organization.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a not-for-profit organization certified under 501(c)(3) status.
- Focus on supporting youth education and literacy.
- Serve communities near our US offices, particularly the communities of San Jose (CA), Dallas (TX), Portland (OR), New York (NY), and Washington (DC). If you are outside the United States, please e-mail McAfee Community Involvement for more information about our global giving.
- Special consideration is given to those organizations that currently have participation from McAfee employees, or that have opportunities for further collaboration.
Exclusions
McAfee does not consider proposals for grants to individuals, religious organizations for sectarian purposes, private foundations, political organizations, or political causes. It also does not provide funds for capital projects, organizational deficits, or general operating support.
McAfee also does not provide grants to organizations that do not comply with our equal opportunity and nondiscrimination policies. Single-gender organizations are not automatically excluded; as long as the organization is addressing a gender-specific issue (e.g., more girls in math and science), or has an opposite-gender equivalent organization.
