Work-Life Balance

Commitment: Provide McAfee employees with programs and benefits that support work-life balance.

McAfee is proud of our commitment to the work-life balance of our employees. In addition to a corporate culture that supports flexible work arrangements, McAfee also offers various compensation and benefits in regions around the globe. Some of the family-friendly policies and programs in specific regions include:

Through the EAP, employees have access to clinical counseling and telephone consultations around such topics as: marital/relationship issues, adoption, stress, drug/alcohol dependency, life changes, financial assistance, legal advice, taxes, retirement counseling, personal organization, and more. These services contribute significantly to work/life balance for our employees.

In an era of skyrocketing healthcare costs, McAfee is proud that we provide our employees with a benefits program that includes access to healthcare services. In addition to healthcare coverage, we offer a number of programs, such as our Wellness Program, that encourage healthy practices among our employees.

Within the workplace, McAfee is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees. The McAfee Corporate Safety Program implements policies and guidelines in our offices around the world, including a corporate safety manual, an Emergency Action Plan, loss control steps, hazard abatement, and ergonomics training and assistance. Employees also may raise any concerns regarding safety via our anonymous third-party hotline. McAfee has been recognized for its workplace safety, including a profile on McAfee safety in “CAL/OSHA Compliance Advisor” magazine (“Best Practices: Computer Virus Firm Creates Unusual Safety Services for Its Workers Around the World,” April 2005).
