Joseph Gabbert

Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Joseph Gabbert oversees all aspects of worldwide human resources, including employee recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, change management, employee relations, community development, and merger and acquisition integration activities.

Prior to joining McAfee in 2007, Gabbert held many senior leadership positions at technology companies in the United States and Europe, including EMC, Cadence Design Systems, and LexisNexis.

Gabbert has a long history of public service, working at the national, state, and local levels in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles.

Gabbert holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. He also completed the human resources executive program at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Gabbert lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has a son who is a student athlete at the University of California, San Diego.
