McAfee Software-as-a-Service
Marc Olesen is the senior vice president and general manager of McAfee's SaaS Security Business Unit. In this role he is responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction for McAfee's SaaS solutions. Olesen leads the engineering, marketing and sales functions driving worldwide growth for McAfee's SaaS business.
Previously Olesen was the Vice President of Software-as-a-Service at HP where he was leading the SaaS for IT Management business and responsible for all solution development, go-to-market and delivery functions. Olesen has over twenty years of professional experience in software and services. His extensive background includes organizational leadership, profit & loss accountability, and solution management. Prior to joining HP, Olesen was the Senior Director of Customer Service for Qwest CyberSolutions (QCS), where he was responsible for global application management services. Preceding QCS, Marc was a High-Tech Consulting Practice Manager with BearingPoint. Olesen also held positions with Remedy Corporation and Oracle Corporation. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Economics, both from Stanford University.
