Platforms Supported
- Windows NT 4 - Service Pack 6a only
- Windows 2000 - Service Pack 4 only
- Windows XP 32-bit and x64 Editions (with current and previous Service pack)
- Windows Server 2003 32-bit and x64 Editions (with current and previous Service pack)
- Windows Vista 32-bit and x64 Editions
- Windows Server 2008 32-bit and x64 Editions (with current and previous Service pack)
Memory Requirements
- At least 128 MB of free hard disk space.
- At least 128 MB of free hard disk space reserved for temporary files.
- For Windows Vista and Server 2008 at least 512 MB of RAM. 1024 MB is recommended.
- For all other Windows platforms at least 384 MB of RAM. 512 MB is recommended.

Installing the Software
1. Make a directory for the VirusScan software on your hard disk.
2. Copy the VirusScan Command Line files to that directory.
3. Update the PATH environment variable to include the directory that you have just created.
Removing the Software
1. Change to the VirusScan Command Line program directory.
2. Delete all VirusScan files from your hard disk.
A list of files installed is available in the readme.txt file in the package.
