Ed Barry is vice president of McAfee’s Security Innovation Alliance. SIA is McAfee’s technology partnering program which greatly accelerates the development of interoperable security products, and simplifies the integration of those products in complex customer environments.
In this role, Barry is responsible for all aspects of SIA, including partner recruitment, enablement, integration, testing, and go-to-market activities. Located in Cary, NC, he joined McAfee in January 2008 and reports to Alyssa Fitzpatrick, SVP Worldwide Alliances.
Barry has two decades of technology sales, channel sales, distribution, and alliance management experience. Prior to joining McAfee, he was vice president of strategic alliances and system integrators at Code Green Networks, a data loss prevention vendor. Prior to Code Green Networks, Barry has held positions in sales, channels, partner management, and distribution at Network Appliance, EMC, SGI, and Access Graphics (now Avnet).
Barry has spent a number of years living outside the United States, including time in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Venezuela. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia.
