  • Locky–Ransomware
    This targets Windows users, except computers using the Russian language, by encrypting files located in multiple drive locations.
  • Jigsaw–Ransomware
    The ransomware threatens to delete files every hour unless the victim pays the ransom after downloading fraudulent versions of software.
  • Operation Shamoon 2
    The attack focused on targets in Saudi Arabia and the malware used was programmed to wipe the hard disk of the infected computer.
  • CVE-2017-0022
    A vulnerability in some versions of Microsoft Windows could lead to information disclosure. The flaw lies in Microsoft XML Core Services.
  • RIG Exploit Kit
    RIG is spread via suspicious advertisements that have been inserted into legitimate websites.
