McAfee+ Gets 4.5 Stars and the Editor\u2019s Choice Award from Tech Advisor<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tech Advisor\u2019s review <\/span>opened with the big picture, stating <\/span>‘McAfee+ is Total Protection on steroids’ and McAfee+ is ‘a complete cybersecurity package that goes beyond simply blocking nasties to offer holistic protection for everything you do online.’<\/span> <\/span>Tech Advisor said,<\/span> \u201c<\/span>This feels like the beginning of a new era of cybersecurity where the customer is no longer helpless to unwanted intrusion, and McAfee+ makes sure they have the tools to use that new-found power.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Top features they called out include Lost Wallet support, which will help you cancel your cards and order replacements from a single screen. Moreover, they applauded our <\/span>Identity Theft and Restoration Coverage<\/span><\/a> which is \u201cthe sort of identity protection that you\u2019d normally see from an insurance company.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our industry-first <\/span>Protection Score<\/span><\/a> also racked up points with Tech Advisor, which really latched onto the idea of improving their score. \u201cWe actually found chasing points quite compulsive \u2013 and most importantly, it means that you don\u2019t need to worry about how any of the features we\u2019re about to look at work, what they do, or even what they\u2019re called \u2013 McAfee+ does all that for you, making it great, not just for tech-heads, but seniors, kids, and the less-tech-savvy alike.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PC Mag Gives McAfee+ 4 Stars with an \u201cExcellent\u201d Rating<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The PC Mag review gave McAfee+ a thorough walkthrough with a particular focus on its privacy and identity features, saying, \u201cMcAfee+ is now the most complete product in the McAfee line, and its combination of unlimited device protection with identity theft remediation is quite appealing.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It highlighted our <\/span>Personal Data Cleanup<\/span><\/a> feature that scans some of the riskiest data broker sites and shows you which ones are selling your personal info and provides guidance for removing it\u2014and further touched on our <\/span>Identity Theft and Restoration Coverage<\/span><\/a> that, \u201coffers full identity monitoring and identity theft remediation rivaling that of many competing products, and you can now extend protection to your family.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The review also put McAfee\u2019s <\/span>Credit Monitoring<\/span><\/a>, Credit Lock, and <\/span>Security Freeze<\/span><\/a> features through the paces as well, which help you keep an eye on changes to your credit score, report, and accounts with timely notifications and guidance so you can take action to tackle identity theft.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PC Mag also called out the unlimited device coverage that protects all devices in your household, McAfee\u2019s excellent third-party test scores for antivirus protection, and unlimited VPN\u2014all adding up to a four-star review and an \u201cExcellent\u201d rating.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Trusted Reviews \u2013 A Trusted Score of 4.5 Stars and a Recommended Award<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Like Tech Advisor, <\/span>Trusted Reviews<\/span> <\/span>focused on the broader nature of online protection today and that it calls for much more than antivirus. Identity and privacy protection are equally important, and \u201cMcAfee+ Advanced is very much a do-it-all service.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Notably, along the same lines, the review mentioned that the \u201cnew McAfee Plus tiers are among very few mainstream internet security suites to offer data broker removal services in the UK and Europe.\u201d As mentioned above, our <\/span>Personal Data Cleanup<\/span><\/a> can help you spot and remove personal information from data broker sites, which bad actors of all stripes use to commit scams and identity theft. Trusted Reviews also called out the unlimited number of devices and how it\u2019s helpful for households with a lot of hardware to protect. The core antivirus was highlighted as well, in that \u201cthe performance for McAfee Plus Advanced in recent lab tests has been excellent. It detected all malware with no false positives in <\/span>AV-TEST\u2019s latest Windows consumer antivirus test<\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The journalist concludes their review by stating that \u201cthe company\u2019s push into identity protection and recovery in the UK is almost beyond the score of my anti-malware focus on these reviews, but it\u2019s a useful toolkit to have on hand, and its data broker listing removal service is very welcome indeed.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
