The Endpoint Assistant app provides iOS and Android end users two convenient functions: (1) a password recovery method to helps users gain access to their PCs without the assistance of the IT help desk, and (2) secure access to cloud storage services to retrieve encrypted data from services such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive.

Password recovery

An end user simply points their mobile camera at their laptop pre-boot screen to scan a QR code, and enters a challenge code from the Endpoint Assistant app into their laptop. The recovery process can occur as quickly as one minute.

Secure access to cloud storage

The Endpoint Assistant app detects if a file downloaded to a mobile device has been encrypted. If so, the app decrypts the file transparently while providing the mobile device file viewing app access to the decrypted file.
