Cloud Workload Security for AWS
Cloud Workload Security for AWS discovers and imports the inventory details of your Amazon EC2 instances from AWS into the McAfee ePO, tracking all workloads as they spin up and down. With this feature, McAfee ePO recognizes elastic scaling of EC2 instances and is always aware of the extent of VMs in the cloud. Cloud Workload Security provides an easy way to deploy all McAfee server protection solutions on EC2, which in turn enables consistent security between the public cloud and the on-premises private data center.
McAfee Virtual Network Security Platform on AWS
McAfee Virtual Network Security Platform (McAfee vNSP) is a complete network threat and intrusion prevention system (IPS) solution built for the unique demands of the public cloud. It quickly detects and protects against advanced attacks including zero-day malware, SQL injection, and east–west lateral intrusion. Streamlined workflows, flexible integration options, and simplified licensing enable organizations to efficiently deploy McAfee vNSP to protect critical data and workloads, wherever they reside. Integration with McAfee Network Security Manager provides a single, centralized web-based interface for ease of use.
McAfee Web Gateway (MWG) for AWS
With its nearly unlimited policy flexibility and strength in zero-day malware prevention, McAfee Web Gateway can be deployed as a VM in AWS for multiple enterprise security use cases: protect cloud workloads, which require inbound file scanning; complement Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) as an HTTP/HTTPS proxy, allowing flexible web traffic management and threat prevention for virtual desktops; and shift McAfee Web Gateway (on premises, cloud service, and hybrid) policy management to the AWS cloud, reducing TCO by removing the on-premises elements of managing proxy technology.
