Digital badges are web-enabled versions of your certification. Representing your credential as a badge allows you to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted, and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of how you have earned your credentials—and what you’re now capable of.
We have partnered with Acclaim, a badging platform backed by Pearson, to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a digital badge. The technology Acclaim uses is based on the Open Badge standards defined by Mozilla and enables you to manage, share, and verify your credential digitally.
Advertise your product expertise across social media, in emails, and on web sites. Every credential and profile on Acclaim has a unique URL that can be shared to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter; via email, embedded in a website, or on a resume. You can also add your badge to an email signature.
Getting Your Badge
Once you complete your certification with McAfee, you will receive an email notification with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account for managing, sharing, and verifying your certification. This is a complimentary service—using Acclaim is free to badge earners.
Candidates who have completed certification but have not received their digital badge offering email can open a support ticket. Candidates will need to provide their full name as they registered for the exam and their Pearson Vue Credential Manager candidate ID.
