President and CEO, McAfee
Peter brings to McAfee a strong background in leading and growing multinational businesses. Over the course of his successful career in technology and services, he has led teams to create a shared vision and make strategic decisions while driving operational excellence. Peter and the team are ushering the company into a new, cloud-first era in which the safety and security of consumers, businesses, and governments rely on McAfee. Prior to McAfee, Peter served as president and CEO of BMC Software, a software and services company that helps enterprises meet escalating digital demands and maximize IT innovation. Prior to BMC, Peter served as president and CEO of Polycom, a global collaboration business serving the enterprise market. Peter also served as president of industry and field operations at NCR Corporation, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies. At Motorola, Peter was corporate vice president and general manager of the enterprise business in North America, Latin America, and EMEA. Earlier in his career, Peter held executive sales leadership positions at Symbol Technologies, Cisco Systems, and Tektronix. He currently serves on the Board of Box and previously served on the Boards of Proofpoint, HD Supply, Inc. as well as the Eye Bank for Sight Restoration. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University.
EVP, Global Sales and Marketing, McAfee
Lynne Doherty is executive vice president of global sales and marketing at McAfee. Lynne is responsible for the team that ensures that McAfee delivers a premium experience and strong security outcomes for our customers. Her customer-first team includes all sales, pre-sales, channel, and marketing groups that support our Enterprise business. Lynne has been leading sales organizations and driving positive business outcomes for customers for more than 20 years. Lynne joined McAfee from Cisco, where she most recently served as senior vice president of U.S. commercial sales — Cisco’s largest, single-market sales organization. In this role, she oversaw a team of more than 2,000 employees, drove $8B in revenue annually, serving 400,000+ accounts. Prior to this position, Lynne led Cisco’s security sales for the Americas, overseeing a $2B portfolio of products across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. With her extensive security and industry expertise, Lynne played a key role in the integration and go-to-market strategy efforts following Cisco’s acquisitions of Duo Security, Umbrella, and Cloudlock. Throughout her more than 15 years in various sales and leadership roles at Cisco, Lynne built a reputation for leading high-performing, international organizations that capitalized on competitive opportunities and cultivated innovative initiatives that disrupted markets and drove technology adoption. Lynne holds a bachelor of science in mathematics and computer science from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and started her career as a programmer at Bell Atlantic before joining Sun Microsystems as a regional executive in sales and engineering.
SVP and CTO, McAfee
Steve Grobman is senior vice president and CTO at McAfee. In this role, he sets the technical strategy and direction to create technologies that protect smart, connected computing devices and infrastructure worldwide. Steve leads McAfee’s development of next generation cyber-defense and data science technologies, threat and vulnerability research, and internal CISO and IT organizations. Prior to McAfee, he dedicated more than two decades to senior technical leadership positions related to cybersecurity at Intel Corporation where he was an Intel Fellow. He has authored numerous technical papers and books and holds 30 U.S. patents. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.
EVP and CPO, McAfee
Ashutosh (Ash) Kulkarni is executive vice president and chief product officer of the enterprise business group at McAfee. He is responsible for product strategy and execution and for delivering leading-edge cybersecurity offerings that protect McAfee customers from threats to their applications, networks, data, devices, and other critical assets. Ashutosh is a passionate advocate of customer-centric design and of the use of data and analytics to create compelling offerings that thrill customers. Most recently, he was the senior vice president and general manager of the web security and web performance businesses at Akamai Technologies. During his tenure at Akamai, he led the teams that delivered the leading web application firewall, bot management, and DDoS mitigation solutions in the industry. Ashutosh has over 20 years of product management, product development, product marketing, business development, and strategy experience. Prior to Akamai, he served in various senior leadership roles at Informatica. As senior vice president and general manager, he led Informatica’s cloud integration business as well as their core data integration and data quality businesses. He began his career at Sun Microsystems where he worked in various engineering, product management, and product marketing roles. Ashutosh earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai, a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
SVP, Cloud Security BU, McAfee
Rajiv Gupta is senior vice president of the cloud security business unit at McAfee. Rajiv joined McAfee in January 2018 with the acquisition of Skyhigh Networks, the leading cloud access security broker (CASB) company where he was the founder and CEO. Rajiv has more than 20 years of successful enterprise software and security experience and is recognized as a pioneer of web services. Prior to founding Skyhigh, he was vice president and general manager of the policy management business unit at Cisco. Prior to Cisco, Rajiv was founder and CEO of Securent Inc., a policy-based web services management company that was acquired by Oblix/Oracle. Before Securent, he spent 11 years at Hewlett-Packard, where his work on client-utility computing technology was the precursor to cloud services as we know them today. With more than 45 patents, Rajiv is the inventor or co-inventor of some of the seminal concepts that underpin web services. Rajiv earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology and his doctorate in computer science from the California Institute of Technology.
