Getting Started

Start using McAfee MVISION ePO by following these steps:

  1. Sign up for an account using this form.
  2. After receiving an account activation email, follow the instructions to activate your account and set a password.
  3. Log in to your account with your registered email address and new password.

Manage

Manage and Protect Your Systems

Create and send a custom URL to all users whose systems you want to manage with MVISION ePO. For information, see customize the installation URL and send it to users.

Protect your systems by deploying McAfee MVISION Endpoint. For more information, see the MVISION Endpoint Quick Start Guide.

Manage Users and Accounts

Administrators can invite users to create accounts and manage and configure accounts. For more information on accounts, see managing users and accounts.

Using the Protection Workspace Dashboard to Remediate Threats

The Protection Workspace is where you can see all potential threats on managed devices and respond to them. For more information on how to use this feature, see using the Protection Workspace in MVISION.

Migrate

If you are planning to migrate from McAfee ePO to MVISION ePO, see Migrating from McAfee ePO to MVISION ePO.

Note: Only McAfee ePO 5.3.0 and later can be migrated to MVISION ePO. See Migration paths for MVISION ePO for more details.

Troubleshooting

Ports and URLs Required by MVISION ePO

MVISION ePO is hosted in the cloud, so McAfee ensures all necessary ports are configured outbound from this service. Communication issues can occur if endpoints are in restrictive environments. If you believe a communication issue is occurring from the endpoint, refer to this guide to ensure that the endpoint can communicate with MVISION ePO.
