Scott Lovett is executive vice president of global corporate sales at McAfee. He is responsible for defining and carrying out McAfee's go-to-market strategy for security solutions worldwide. His team focuses on helping customers transform the way they think about security by taking advantage of a connected security architecture to protect across the attack continuum. Lovett was previously corporate vice president of global sales for Intel Security Group.
Before joining McAfee in 2014, Lovett spent 20 years at Cisco Systems. In his most recent role as vice president of worldwide security sales for Cisco, Lovett created a universal approach to route-to-market and go-to-market strategies and execution. He was also a key member of the team that led the acquisition and integration of Sourcefire into Cisco sales processes. Earlier in his career, Lovett held sales leadership positions in collaboration architecture, enterprise, public sector, and service provider organizations, as well as technical and sales leadership roles at Lightstream Corporation, Memorex Telex, and Ungermann-Bass.
Lovett earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Eastern Illinois University. He serves on advisory boards for US Voice and Data and SecureX Networks. He also speaks frequently to professional and educational groups on topics such as the impact of technology on business transformation and the characteristics of successful matrix leadership.
