Security downloads

Everyone’s needs are different. These plug-ins can enhance your existing McAfee security suite based on your lifestyle.

Manage passwords

Truekey is a free app that stores, auto-fills, and generates strong passwords across your logins and devices.

Secure your online connections

Safe Connect gives some customers access to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) as part of McAfee’s comprehensive security suite. With it, you can hide your identity and maintain your privacy over unsecured connections, like public Wi-Fi. Visit My Account to confirm you can access the Safe Connect VPN and then download it, if eligible.

Safer internet browsing

Web Advisor helps you avoid dangerous websites and phishing scams as you browse online. This free browser plug-in uses a simple system of color-coded links on search results & social media pages and steers you back to safety if you misclick. It even alerts you to suspicious downloads as well.

McAfee Virus Protection Pledge

Our goal is to keep you safer. But if, for some reason, you do get a virus, and you’re an eligible auto-renewal subscriber you still don’t have to worry.* This pledge 100% guarantees you'll get your money back if we can't get rid of a virus on your McAfee-protected devices.
