VMware Server is a free virtualization product for Windows and Linux servers that allows a physical server to be partitioned into multiple virtual machines. Email and Web Security Appliance - Virtual runs on the server in its own virtual machine.

Note: When you run Email and Web Security Appliance in the trial virtual environment, traffic throughput will be reduced by up to 40 percent compared to the throughput that you would experience with the actual appliance, assuming similar hardware specifications. After 30 days, the web and email traffic that passes through the virtual appliance will not be scanned.
Email and Web Security Appliance - Virtual is for evaluation only. McAfee Email and Web Security appliances are available for purchase in four different models that accommodate a range of performance requirements.

You must install VMware Server prior to installing the Email and Web Security Appliance - Virtual.
