MySQL Database Security

Enterprise-Level Database Security for MySQL Databases

Organizations of all sizes who are using the MySQL open-source platform can now leverage McAfee's award-winning database security technology to gain deep visibility into MySQL database activity.

The free audit plug-in is based upon the same technology as McAfee Database Activity Monitoring, allowing users to easily satisfy compliance mandates that require full audit information.

The plug-in may be used as a standalone audit solution or configured to feed data to external monitoring tools.

When coupled with the McAfee Database Activity Monitor (DAM) sensor for MySQL, the data is subject to the same real-time analysis and policy enforcement that the sensor can perform on the data collected from any other supported database.
