The combination of Hacker Safe® and McAfee SiteAdvisor® technologies into a single service helps sites protect their network perimeters and web applications. | McAfee Secure Search will be released later this quarter to existing and new SiteAdvisor downloads and will appear in the SiteAdvisor toolbar. In addition to seeing the SiteAdvisor green, yellow and red safety ratings, web surfers will also see McAfee Secure sites—those that have passed stringent tests that help to ensure they are safe from external hackers. McAfee Secure Search allows consumers to narrow down search results to sites that are known to be free of malware and exploits. Consumers can customize the McAfee Secure Search by filtering out risky "red" sites, and they can make the McAfee Secure Search their browser’s default search engine.
