For the seventh year in a row, McAfee’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) was placed in the Leader Quadrant of Gartner’s Enterprise Data Loss Prevention Magic Quadrant report. Published in late January, this report evaluates DLP vendors on both the ability to execute and completeness of vision.
According to Gartner1, “Enterprise DLP continues evolving to support both content-aware and context-aware capabilities, as well as support for IT security leaders to cover broader deployment use cases beyond regulatory compliance and intellectual property protection. By 2018, 90% of organizations will implement at least one form of integrated DLP, up from 50% today.” This coincides with what we are seeing in the data protection market. With the adoption of Cloud and unmanaged devices, traditional corporate perimeters are disappearing – making it ever so challenging for enterprises to protect sensitive data in these risky locations.
McAfee can help! Many large Fortune 100 companies in different verticals are currently using our solutions for:
- Extensive and integrated data protection technologies such as Network DLP, Endpoint DLP, Encryptions and Device Control.
